Our environmental mission

Creating a sustainable future

For over 25 years, Coodu Trust has been at the forefront of environmental conservation and climate resilience in Tamil Nadu. Working as coordinating agency, consultant and training partner to government departments and CSR funders, we have supported watershed development in 570 watersheds across 14 districts of Tamil Nadu, and social development initiatives in over 30 districts reaching 38,16,000 beneficiaries across 534 panchayats.

Our track record includes 1,79,486 hectares of wasteland reclaimed, 26,93,250 trees planted, and environmental programmes spanning watershed development, afforestation, water resource management and climate change adaptation. Through science-based solutions and community empowerment, we build resilient ecosystems that support both nature and human livelihoods.
